Holiday Party

In 1986, a group of labor activists saw a need to share with those less fortunate around the holidays. Hundreds of children participated in that first holiday party and toy giveaway. A quarter-century later more than 25,000 children in need have enjoyed a day of fun, food and gifts at this annual holiday tradition.

The 25th Anniversary Holiday Party will be at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds on Sunday, Dec. 18.

You can help continue this tradition and celebrate the Holiday Party’s years of service by attending the Holiday Party Fundraiser on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at the IBEW Hall, 2125 Canoas Garden Road in San Jose from 5:30-7 p.m. It will be an evening of festive food, photos with celebrity Santas and elves, face painting, and more. Bring a minimum donation of $25 or new, unwrapped children’s toys.
