It's all about turnout now -- yours and your progressive friends.

Vote tomorrow, if you haven't already, for the COPE-endorsed candidates in the Cupertino, Palo Alto and Sunnyvale elections. Here’s the list:

• Cupertino City Council -- Barry Chang and Mahesh Nihalani

• Cupertino Union School District -- Anjali Kausar, Ben Liao and Gary McCue

• Palo Alto City Council -- Corey Levens, Gail Price and Nancy Shepherd

• Sunnyvale City Council -- Jim Griffith, Chris Moylan and Tony Spitaleri

Volunteers are still needed for poll checking from noon to 8 p.m. and phone banking from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the South Bay AFL-CIO Labor Council office at 2102 Almaden Road, Suite 107. Call (408) 266-3790 x582. Food and refreshments will be provided.

Once polls close, join us at 8 p.m. at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Hall, 2125 Canoas Garden Ave., in San Jose for our victory party.
