Almaden Park 5K benefits those living with cancer

Cancer patients in need of financial assistance for medication, living expenses, transportation and home care will benefit from the 5-kilometer run/walk at San Jose's Almaden Lake Park on Saturday, Aug. 21.

The event, sponsored by the non-profit Fashion Your Mind Organization, will feature Champion Wushu of Fremont leading lead group warm-ups, live entertainment by The DJ Dream Team and awards.
